Ten straight home losses for the Philadelphia Eagles, as they lose to the New York Giants, and scoring no Offensive touchdowns in two straight games.  Quarterback Michael Vick, making his return start from a hamstring injury struggled and did not look confident, then left the game re-injuring his hamstring.  We discuss how this might be the last time we see Vick lead the Offense this season, or ever in Eagle Green.

A bright spot in the game was the improving play of the Defense.  Yes, we know that it was against a horrible Giants Offense, but Defensive Coordinator Bill Davis is making the talent his has work, and has been a relative bright spot the past few weeks.  We also talk about how Eagles fans are reacting with emotion regarding head coach Chip Kelly, with many on social media and calling the sports talk stations calling for Chip's firing.  It is way too early for something like that, and everyone needs to give all of this time.  The Eagles organization is showing it has the future in mind, with the Eagles getting a couple of Draft picks from the New England Patriots in a trade for Eagles Defensive Tackle Isaac Sopoaga.  We need to be patient.  The Eagles are where we expected them to be before the season started.  What we didn't expect is the flashes of brilliance that stoked the fires of hope.  And right now Philadelphia is in desperate need of hope on the sports front.
