The Philadelphia Eagles win their fourth straight game, this time at home defeating the Arizona Cardinals 24-21 and moving to 7-5 on the season.  With the Cowboys win on Thanksgiving day, that keeps both teams tied for the NFC East, but with the Cowboys having the edge due to Division record.

The win over the Cardinals did come with concerns as the Eagles Offense again seemed to sputter and underperform in the fourth quarter.  Quarterback Nick Foles threw for three more touchdowns with no interceptions, but made some mistakes in the game I'm sure he would have wanted to take a mulligan on.  But that's ok, it's part of the learning process for a young player.  Foles has shown much more positive in his play than negative, and he continues to show confidence and poise of players in the league many more years than he.

On the flip side, we saw the Eagles Defense continue to impress, with yet another excellent showing by Trent Cole.  Cole had another two sacks, a forced fumble, and was pressuring Cardinals' QB Carson Palmer all game.  That made such a difference in the Cards' Offense, it is a testament to both the play of Cole and Defensive Coordinator Bill Davis.

So at the beginning of December, we are now talking very seriously about the Eagles in the playoff hunt.  What a difference a year makes.  Eagles football continues to be fun, and we are enjoying this ride as far as it takes us.
