Let's play some football in the snow! In case you were living deep in the Caribbean this past week, you heard about the snowstorm that hit Philadelphia, dropping around eight inches of the white stuff during the game. Reports called for an inch or two, then turning to sleet and rain in the afternoon. They received the type of snow that made for legendary games, and the Eagles played to that caliber. Shady McCoy set a personal and Eagles single-game record, plowing through 217 yards on the ground. The Eagles Defense played and adjusted, and played and adjusted. Overall they only allowed just eight points and made the Lions look like they were playing football on a snow day. It was one of the greatest Eagles games I have ever seen, and at the time I was not believing what I was seeing at all. Not in the Birds' play themselves, but in the way the game played out. It was fun, it was surreal at times, and it was a classic. I wish I was there, but still enjoyed every second of it on the small screen regardless. Our Eagles plowed through the snow, the Lions, and thanks to the Cowboys first step in their December implosion... first place in the NFC East. -- Snowy way to get in touch: Voicemail Line: 1 (856) 335-3675 Twitter: @EaglesFanCast Facebook: facebook.com/EaglesFanCast Google+: EaglesFanCast Email: fans [at] EaglesFanCast.net Support EFC – get our iPhone App or Android App or Windows Phone App Find more at EaglesFanCast.net |
