The Chicago Bears beat the Philadelphia Eagles at Soldier Field on a day where the Eagles Offense, Defense, Special Teams and coaching all come up short for the team.  Despite that, and the NFC loss, we don’t see this as a tragic loss on the season, and see plenty of opportunity for the Eagles to make the December playoff run.  Playoffs?  Yes, this team that, three months ago, we saw as a rebuilding and .500 team is now poised to make a run at not only the playoffs, but also winning the NFC East.  This could be a great December for the midnight green and silver, and we are not going to let this loss bring us down too much.

What we discussed:

  • Eagles lost to the Chicago Bears as they did not play well on all sides of the ball
  • Coach Andy Reid gave the team a very angry lashing after the game… well deserved
  • The Houston Texans come to Philly on Thursday night, and we see a big win
  • Email from Barry in New Jersey about how the Bears Defense is one of the only built to cover the Eagles this year
  • The Eagles red zone issues are a concern, but we hope this is fixed quickly
  • We are looking forward to a great December of Eagles football
  • EFC Fantasy football weekly roundup
