The Philadelphia Eagles post a second come from behind win in as
many weeks, defeating the Washington Redskins at home. This places the
Eagles with a 7-4 record, and hot in the race for the Wild Card.
Although we see flaws with the team and have serious concerns, we
explore the possibility of this team gelling and surging into the
playoffs. Now what happens when they get there is another story, but
anything can happen with this NFL it seems.
What we discussed:
- The Eagles win over the Redskins and move to 7-4
- Can the Eagles be starting to gel and make a serious run at the playoffs?
- Eagles sign TE Brent Celek to a contract extension
- The Eagles moved the ball against a good Redskins Defense
- Asante Samuel making the picks, but still not the tackles, and that is ok with us
- The New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees just look dominating
- Email from Dr. Krug in Gettysburg
- Email from Dennis in Gerrysburg
- DeSean Jackson suffers a concussion in the game, and might not play against the Falcons
- The Eagles activate WR Jordan Norwood from the practice squad today
- A side story we expect to see more of as the week progresses is Michael Vick’s return to Atlanta
