Part 1 of 2
Tommy Lawlor of Scouts Notebook, Eagles Blitz and PhiladelphiaEagles.com joins us for our annual Post-Draft show. With Tommy’s extensive insight, we break down how the Eagles Draft went down, how the new players fit in the system, the work the organization still has to do, and much more.
What we discussed:
- The NFL 2010 Draft had great ratings and that probably means the new format will stay
- DE Brandon Graham from Michigan was the Eagles first pick, and they aggressively went for him
- S Nate Allen from USF was the second pick
- LB Keenan Clayton from Oklahoma (4th round) might have real potential on this team
- DE Ricky Sapp from Clemson was chosen in the 5th round and some are seeing him as a steal
- Eagles picked a number of smart players in this Draft
- RB Charles Scott from LSU is someone Tommy is happy about the Eagles picking
- QB Mike Kafka from Northwestern was the Eagles 6th pick overall. He didn’t play a whole lot in college, but is talented.
- S Kurt Coleman from Ohio State is a player that is starter material in a few short years
- CB Trevard Lindley from Kentucky
