The second preseason game is in the books, and so is another 40 points from the Eagles! It wasn’t just the high score that has us kind of excited, but also that our new quarterback Sam Bradford looked good, and took a few hits and felt good about it. On top of it, our new running back, DeMarco Murray, also did well, running strong, and scoring a touchdown against a Baltimore Ravens Defense that looked almost lazy. What else? Oh maybe that our new wide receiver Nelson Agholor continues to impress, and we also ran back a punt for a touchdown (Kenjon Barner’s second in two games), and of course a couple of interceptions of Joe Flacco by safety Walter Thurmond and cornerback Byron Maxwell also gives a warm feeling in the stomach. On top of everything else, Mychal Kendricks, our outstanding linebacker, just signed a long-term deal with the Eagles today. Along with fellow linebacker Kiko Alonso coming back from his injury soon, possibly this week, we should all be excited. Things look good right now, and the excitement continues to build to a 2015 Philadelphia Eagles season with Chip Kelly’s plan starting to take shape for all of us. We will see more this week when the Eagles travel to play the Green Bay Packers. — No-Wet USA, Eco-friendly Car Care: NoWetUSA.com – Enter the coupon code EFC at checkout and get a 10% discount! — Optimism for a New Season: Voicemail Line: 1 (856) 335-3675 Twitter: @EaglesFanCast, Todd – @tradonks and Chuck – @chuckst Facebook: facebook.com/EaglesFanCast Google+: EaglesFanCast Email: fans [at] EaglesFanCast.net Support EFC – get our iPhone App, Android App or Windows 8 App |
