Today the Philadelphia Eagles named the starting quarterback in Michael Vick.  It’s really no surprise, as Vick has shown impressive abilities and leadership so far in the first two preseason games against New England and Carolina.  Nick Foles also showed his talents, but Vick has had the edge.  New Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was of course the person who made the determination, and now it feels like the Eagles are complete for the 2013 season, and can move forward with their plans.

For the fans, the excitement has been building as a result of the changes that this season has in store for us.  There is optimism in this season, but it seems to us that all fans are realistic in how the season will turn out… with the Eagles getting seven to nine wins, and building for a better future.  There are two more preseason games ahead of the team, where they will work out some other personnel and get the players ready for the punishing regular season.  We couldn’t be more happy right now, as the welcome changes are under way, and we get to see our refreshed team start this season in just a few short weeks.

Excited as we are, well we want to hear from you!

Philadelphia Eagles training camp is well under way, and we’ve already seen a starter in Jeremy Maclin go down for the season and another player, Riley Cooper, involved in a controversy due to stupidity.  Such is the life of the Eagles fans’ frustrations, right?  We talk about Maclin and Cooper, training camp, and mostly the new excitement for this new season under a new head coach, and the way Chip Kelly is approaching things so far.  The team still doesn’t have a named starting quarterback, although it appears Michael Vick is the favorite right now.  The Defense is a mystery in how it can handle this season, but the Offense looks very promising, and could potentially be very exciting.

A new Eagles season, and new hopes, yet a completely different outlook.  This is an exciting time for Eagles fans.  We want to hear from you!
